Every summer I get asked by a number of clients what shoes I can suggest for summer to wear with shorts and no socks (or no show socks) as an alternative to sandals.
Here are some of the suggestions I've made which you may find helpful if you too, don't like getting your toes out in public in summer - or just find it easier to walk around in something that actually covers your foot :~)
T-shirts are not normally a feature of this blog, or usually they're pretty plain or with a subtle stripe but occasionally I get asked by clients to source them t-shirts with graphics rather than logos or text. If you'd like to restock your t-shirt wardrobe, here's a selection I suggested to a client recently via my online personal shopping service.
When it comes to summer there aren't so many opportunities to layer to keep your look interesting, so accessories become even more important. Just by adding an interesting belt, throwing on a scarf, or updating your sunglasses you can keep your summer wardrobe looking stylish. Here are six ideas of what to add to your wardrobe this season to keep your summer cool:
Many men will be braver with their beachwear, getting into the holiday spirit and feeling adventurous, so ditch those faded black shorts you've had for the past eight years try out some new seventies inspired swimwear.
Seersucker is lightweight, cool and comfortable to wear and as an added bonus, no ironing required! What's not to love?! I've searched out some seersucker tailoring for you and put together some outfits which I think would be great for any summer events you have coming up, where you need to look smart but keep your cool.
If you're checking out of this country some time soon and heading off to summery climes then I've put together some looks for you.
Using many of the micro geometric prints that are around this summer as a base and mixing with muted colours, natural fabrics and retro touches, I hope you can imagine yourself wearing some of the pieces with the sand between your toes, the sun on your skin, and nothing to do but relax.
