London based personal stylist for men

My name is Sarah Gilfillan from Sartoria Lab. I’m a London based personal stylist for men and personal shopper.

I live in East Dulwich and work all across areas of London, including Southwark, Bromley, Wandsworth, Kingston, Hammersmith, Kensington and Chelsea, Richmond on Thames, Westminster, Islington and lots of other areas too.

Menswear shopping locations in London

When I do my personal shopping trips for men we go to various areas of London. Sometimes Harvey Nichols (where I can book a private shopping suite), and then if we have time we'll go to the other shops in Knightsbridge, or maybe pop down to Sloane Square and Kings Road.

Or often I’ll go to Marylebone where we can visit Marylebone High Street, Chiltern Street (a great menswear shopping destination) and Selfridges.

I also love taking clients to Regent Street area where we can go to Liberty which has a great menswear department in the basement and there are lots of smaller boutiques in and around Soho - Beak St and Berwick Street in particular. There are also lots of casual jeans brands in Carnaby Street.

If we're looking for more formal tailored things then I'll go to Savile Row and Jermyn Street and around Piccadilly Circus. From there it's not far to Bond Street, and South Milton Street too so we have those as an option.

For clients with a tighter budget, the high street shops on Oxford Street are perfect.

Whichever area we go to, before we meet up I go and do all the research and prep for our personal shopping trip together, so we have a very focused shopping experience, and you get the maximum benefit from our time together. 

I’ve lived in London for 30 years and before becoming a personal stylist for men, I worked as a fashion stylist on photo shoots. so I know a lot of the brands very well and what type of people they suit and how they fit…..as well as knowing London extremely well! 

Why choose a personal stylist for men in London?

As you will have seen from the places I mentioned above, Central London has a wealth of fabulous shops and of course is home to Savile Row which is one of the very best menswear streets in the world! There are also other menswear hubs cropping up such as Berwick Street in Soho, and Chiltern Street in Marylebone. And the British High Street is second to none. 

The stores in London have the best selection, often including more exclusive collaborations that you don’t find elsewhere in the out of town stores. There’s a high percentage of shops concentrated in small areas. 

I’m an independent personal stylist for men so I’m not affiliated to any particular shops or brands, so will go to any of the London shops that I feel suits the client best. 

Do you have a personal styling studio for men in London?

I don’t have a personal styling studio for men in London as I find it’s best to meet them in their own environment. So I see clients in their homes, offices or hotels for Colour & Style Consultations, and at their homes for Wardrobe Edits for men. 

I’m happy to travel to the counties surrounding London including Kent, Essex, Sussex, Surrey and Buckinghanshire and Hertfordshire. I do charge for travel from the edge of zone 2 at £55 per hour for travel time plus the cost of train / taxi.

Can I do a personal styling or personal shopping session for men if I don't live in London or the UK?
